In this project iXL New York produced the on-line version of the printed IBM PartnerRewards newsletter. IBM supplies the translation as Microsoft Word documents. We use Weblations Cypher to port the client's translation directly from Word documents to target language HTML pages which are exact replicas of the original pages. We also produce the translated graphics and stage the translated site for our translators to Quality Control.
IBM benefited by re-using the translation it had already commissioned for the printed newsletter, saving money and ensuring cross-media consistency, while iXL was able to focus on web page design and functionality.
