Translator teamwork

We are proud to introduce online access to our translator database, allowing our linguists to enter and update their profiles over the Internet from their native countries.

Over the last six years, we have built a translator and designer database of more than 2,000 professionals from around the world. We use the database to contact and stay in touch with free-lance linguists resident in the target markets of our clients and specializing in any language or subject matter.

Until now, Weblations translation managers were solely responsible for entering and maintaining translator profiles in the database. But have become so well-known in the profession that is impossible to continue doing it by hand. So we are delegating the responsibility to none other than the translators themselves. Henceforth, we will be notified when any translator profile is updated, allowing us to quality control the changes and ask for clarifications where necessary. As before, there are several areas of the database that are only visible to us, where we note the project history, quality and responsiveness of every Weblations translator and designer.

The advantages to you as a client are higher quality, more rapid response, more competitive pricing and all the other benefits that accrue to flexible teamwork. After all, a translation can be no better than the team of linguists who write and revise it. The online database helps us to rapidly assemble the ideal team for each and every project.
